I believe that by modeling appropriate and positive behavior, coaches can show their athletes how best to respond to adversity, handle success, build friendships, set goals, prepare for performance, display sportsmanship, and learn how to believe in themselves and others. I also believe that athletics strengthens educational and professional performance by instilling self-discipline, accountability, and respect for leadership.
