WELCOME TO STING LOUISIANA. THIS AREA OF OUR SITE GIVES INFORMATION ON ALL OF OUR PROGRAMS, OUR CLUB TEAMS AND STAFF HELD IN THIS DIVISION
Sting Louisiana has home fields based at our Sidney Hutchinson Park location.
Boasting competitive girls Club Teams at every age group (U19-U11) and Academy level teams from U10-U6, we offer a fantastic environment for your child to develop her soccer education and learn from the city's best developmental staff and leadership.
With our ever expanding reach, our players compete in multiple competitive platforms.
Currently our female athletes have opportunities to play in the ECNL, ECRL and the ECRL USC (spots in Austin and Dallas) while also competing in the Louisiana Classic Soccer League (LCSL) and the WDDOA, alongside our boys teams who also compete in the LCSL. Our male athletes also have opportunities to compete in the EA (spots in Dallas) and the USC (spots in STX).
STING LOUISIANA OFFERS MULTIPLE PLATFORMS THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL AGES, GIRLS AND BOYS
With our Louisiana division boasting multiple levels of play on multiple platforms, there are many ways for our athletes to learn and enjoy the game.
Our elite teams play in the Louisiana Classic Soccer League, they are given a great opportunity to compete against the very best teams in their region with further chances to compete in national events at the end of the season, based on team rankings.
Our teams have been very successful since the division was formed and all of our teams will continue to push themselves throughout the year with a developmental mindset and a competitive pursuit to improve further.
There are further opportunities for both the girls and boys to play in the ECNL, ECRL, ECRL USC, EA, USC Regional League with spots available in Austin, Dallas and South Texas.
THE LCSL AIMS TO PROMOTE AND ENHANCE THE CULTURE OF SOCCER ACROSS THE STATE
The Louisiana Classic Soccer League, formerly known as the Louisiana Competitive Soccer League ("LCSL") is a state-wide youth soccer league administered by LSA.
The goal of the league is to provide a safe, fair and developmental environment in which players can grow and improve in the game and learn the life lessons best taught through participation in sports.
The LCSL has Divisions (called D1, D2 and so forth) in each age/gender group from U11-U19. Final bracket sizes will be based on the number of teams that apply for the league in each age/gender group. All teams participating in the Mid-South Conference (formerly known as the Southern Regional Premier League) will also play in the LCSL.
Teams must play in the LCSL to qualify for the State Cup, Presidents Cup and Bob Abbott Cup. Seeding in all Louisiana State Tournaments will be determined by LCSL standings at the end of each seasonal year.
All teams will play in the state tournament established for its specific LCSL Division. Division 1 teams will play in the State Cup, Division 2 teams will play in the Presidents Cup, Division 3 teams and below will play in the Open Cup and all U11-U12 teams will play in the Bob Abbott Cup.
GIRLS LOUISIANA PLAYER PATHWAY
The Sting Girls Player Player Pathway (Louisiana) offers multiple levels of competition and development for players of all skill levels. The LCSL is the highest level of competitive soccer that we offer for our girls program, with additional spots available in the ECNL, ECRL, ECRL USC (spots in Austin and Dallas).

The Louisiana Classic Soccer League has a mission to provide a regional platform with a standards based league giving clubs the ability to provide full developmental model and pathway with top competition and exposure.

We are extremely proud to be one of the most successful soccer clubs in the United States of America.
For over 45 years we have developed and guided an incredible amount of athletes. They have continued their soccer education and pursued their dreams of winning and participating in elite level competitions, representing their country at national level and playing professional soccer in over 10 countries.
As a club that prides itself on competing at the very highest level, we have achieved multiple national championships, as well as creating a pathway to college soccer for all of our graduating athletes, with an extremely high percentage of those offered a college scholarship.

STING LOUISIANA HOLD TRYOUTS TWICE A YEAR, ALLOWING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL ATHLETES INTERESTED IN RECEIVING HIGH-QUALITY TRAINING AND COMPETITIVE LEAGUE PLAY
1. REGISTRATION
When our tryouts are open, you will need to register online to ensure a quick checkin-in process. More information to follow when the tryout process is started.
2. CHECK IN
Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the tryouts begin. Players will be assigned a number that is to be used throughout the tryout process. These numbers are used by coaches and leadership when making player selections.
3. ATTENDANCE
Please attend all days of the tryouts. If you cannot attend one of the sessions or will be arriving late, then please let a member of staff know.
4. TIME | DURATION
Our tryouts generally consist of two sessions, one per day and run approximately 90 minutes.
5. WHAT TO WEAR
Players must wear appropriate footwear (cleats), shin guards and bring their own water bottle.
6. TRYOUT FORMAT

7. PLAYER SELECTION
Head coaches will confirm their selections after the final tryout session with the Director of Coaching. You will be informed via email within a few days of tryouts with information regarding the position offered. You will have 24 hours to accept or decline the position.
