WELCOME TO STING AUSTIN. THIS AREA OF OUR SITE GIVES INFORMATION ON ALL OF OUR PROGRAMS, OUR CLUB TEAMS, STAFF AND EVENTS HELD IN THIS DIVISION
SINCE THE DIVISIONS ESTABLISHMENT IN 2017, STING AUSTIN OFFERS ATHLETES, BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS, A PATHWAY TO ELITE COMPETITIVE NATIONAL AND REGIONAL SOCCER.
Built on the proven and comprehensive developmental method of the Sting Soccer Organization, Sting Austin currently has two number one ranked teams in South Texas.
The accomplishments of Sting Austin continue to build. Sting Austin currently has 30+ players participating within the South Texas Olympic Development Program, 3 players that have progressed to the Region III team, and 2 players who have seen the game at the National Team level.
With an ever expanding number of players currently competing in the ECNL, ECNL-RL and the ECNL-RL STX, the division has grown exponentially over the past 3 years, recruiting high level athletes and the divisions development pushing its current rosters to even higher standards of play.

WITH OUR AUSTIN DIVISION BOASTING THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF PLAY ON MULTIPLE PLATFORMS, THERE ARE MANY WAYS FOR OUR ATHLETES TO LEARN AND ENJOY THE GAME.
Our elite girls teams play in the ECNL, ECNL-RL, ECNL-RL STX and the boys play in the USC. Regional League. They are given a great opportunity to compete against the very best teams in the country with further chances to compete in national events that are staged all across the country, throughout the season.
Our teams have been extremely successful since joining ECNL, ECRL, with teams and athletes pushing high in their respective league divisions and representing Sting excellently in Tournaments and Showcases.

THE ECNL WAS FOUNDED IN 2009 AS A CHALLENGE TO THE STATUS QUO OF YOUTH SOCCER.
With a vision to be better with independent governance and leadership structures. The ECNL Board of Directors and staff govern all programs and platforms. The ECNL is sanctioned by US Club Soccer.

ECNL-RL - THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF REGIONAL SOCCER AVAILABLE TO ATHLETES
FOLLOWING THE EXACT SAME PHILOSOPHIES AND PRINCIPLES AS THE ECNL, THE ECRL PROVIDES HIGH LEVEL COMPETITION FOR CLUBS AT A REGIONAL LEVEL.
Originally formed and then expanded in 2018, the league continues to demand and enhance the overall experience of every athlete by creating a better, more enjoyable, and more successful player, coach and development model.
ECNL Girls Regional Leagues are operated and managed so as to ensure a consistent environment and level of professionalism across all leagues, facilitating more club connectivity between levels of play and providing a path for more players within each Member Club to reach their fullest potential.
Each league allows for coordination and collaboration between the teams of different levels within ECNL clubs, or opportunity for teams and players in other clubs to develop through regular high-level competition.
The ECNL Girls Regional Leagues will offer a pathway to an ECNL Girls Regional League Post-Season, featuring two stages.
The ECNL Regional League Championship Series will consist of four regional events held across the country to qualify into the ECNL Regional League Finals along with additional automatic qualifiers from ECNL Regional Leagues, which will be held in conjunction with the ECNL Girls Post-Season.
STING AUSTIN OFFERS RECREATIONAL SOCCER FOR ALL PLAYERS U5-U17
HAVING FUN, LEARNING BY PLAYING AND BUILDING CHARACTER THROUGH SOCCER ARE WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT WHEN YOU SIGN UP YOUR PLAYER FOR THE STING AUSTIN RECREATIONAL PROGRAM.
Our coaches create safe, challenging, inclusive soccer environments where players can experience the game, grow as individual players, learn sportsmanship and respect, and become a good teammate. Through their recreational soccer experience, many players build the foundational skills and confidence to help them transition to more competitive Academy and Select soccer programs.
Critical to player success in our Recreational program is the support of the parent and volunteer coaching community. Our Volunteer coaches are respected and community-focused in their contribution; and have great impact on the lives of the athletes within our program. They are provided curriculum guidance, coaching resources and access to coaching clinics by the Sting Austin Youth Director.
Sting Austin strives to create a growing love for the game while providing a philosophy that supports the advancement of all levels and every player within the Recreational program. Below are recreational program rates:

For over 45 years we have developed and guided an incredible amount of athletes. They have continued their soccer education and pursued their dreams of winning and participating in elite level competitions, representing their country at the national level and playing professional soccer in over 10 countries.
As a club that prides itself on competing at the very highest level, we have achieved multiple national championships, as well as creating a pathway to college soccer for all of our graduating athletes, with an extremely high percentage of those in our programs offered a college scholarship.

STING AUSTIN CURRENTLY BOASTS 7 TRAINING AND GAME-DAY LOCATIONS SPREAD ACROSS NORTH TEXAS, GIVING OUR ATHLETES ACCESS TO A LOCATIONS THAT IS EASILY REACHABLE.
All of our facilities are in place to give our young athletes the very best opportunities to learn and develop their game by providing excellent surfaces and a training environment to perfect their craft.

STING AUSTIN HOLD TRYOUTS TWICE A YEAR, ALLOWING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL ATHLETES INTERESTED IN RECEIVING HIGH-QUALITY TRAINING AND COMPETITIVE LEAGUE PLAY
OUR TRYOUT PROCEDURES.
1. REGISTRATION
When our tryouts are open, you will need to register online to ensure a quick checkin-in process. More information to follow when the tryout process is started.
2. CHECK IN
Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the tryouts begin. Players will be assigned a number that is to be used throughout the tryout process. These numbers are used by coaches and leadership when making player selections.
3. ATTENDANCE
Please attend all days of the tryouts. If you cannot attend one of the sessions or will be arriving late, then please let a member of staff know.
4. TIME | DURATION
Our tryouts generally consist of two sessions, one per day and run approximately 90 minutes.
5. WHAT TO WEAR
Players must wear appropriate footwear (cleats), shin guards and bring their own water bottle.
6. TRYOUT FORMAT

7. PLAYER SELECTION
Head coaches will confirm their selections after the final tryout session with the Director of Coaching. You will be informed via email within a few days of tryouts with information regarding the position offered. You will have 24 hours to accept or decline the position.
