Sting soccer club hosted the two clubs in Dallas for a weekend full of soccer friendlies. A very positive event that brough competition and good matches for the players.

WELCOME TO STING NEBRASKA. THIS AREA OF OUR SITE GIVES INFORMATION ON ALL OF OUR PROGRAMS, OUR CLUB TEAMS AND STAFF HELD IN THIS DIVISION
STING NEBRASKA HAS HOME FIELDS BASED AT OUR CORNERSTONE SOCCER COMPLEX AND SPEEDWAY VILLAGE LOCATIONS.
Boasting competitive girls and boys Club Teams at every age group (U19-U11) and Academy level teams from U10-U6, we offer a fantastic environment for your child to develop her soccer education and learn from the city's best developmental staff and leadership.
With our ever expanding reach, our female athletes compete in the highest available platforms available, currently the NPL Regional League, The NYSL and the ASL. With further Discovery Player opportunities also available in the ECNL and the ECRL.
Our male athletes compete in the NYSL and the ASL, with further opportunities to compete in the EA and NPL with Discovery Player opportunities available in Dallas.
STING NEBRASKA OFFERS MULTIPLE PLATFORMS THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL AGES, BOYS AND GIRLS
WITH OUR NEBRASKA DIVISION BOASTING MULTIPLE LEVELS OF PLAY ON MULTIPLE PLATFORMS, THERE ARE MANY WAYS FOR OUR ATHLETES TO LEARN AND ENJOY THE GAME.
Our elite girls teams play in the National Premier League | Regional League, the Nebraska Youth Soccer League and the Alliance Soccer Leagues. They are given a great opportunity to compete against the very best teams with further chances to compete in national events at the end of the season, based on team rankings.
We also offer further opportunities for our female athletes to compete in the Elite Club National Leagues and the Elite Club Regional Leagues as a Discovery Player.
Our elite boys teams play in the NYSL and the ASL, with further opportunities to compete in the Elite Academy League (spots in Dallas) and the NPL | Regional League as Discovery Players.
NPL - THE NATIONAL PREMIER LEAGUES IS A NATIONAL COMPETITION PLATFORM
THE NPL WAS CREATED TO ELEVATE AND CHANGE THE COMPETITIVE YOUTH SOCCER LANDSCAPE BY:
It was created to elevate and change the competitive youth soccer landscape by:
Extending developmental principles espoused by U.S. Soccer into more age groups and clubs
Linking competition with player development and identification platforms
Providing meaningful weekly competition culminating in a national post season
NPLs are leagues unified under one national competition platform and based on a common technical framework. More specifically, the NPL provides a platform:
Focused on long-term player development
For the country’s top soccer clubs, allowing consistent, meaningful high-level games appropriately scheduled with higher training-to-game ratios and eliminate calendar congestion
Integrated with the id² Program, which includes Player Development Programs (PDPs) in select local markets, and that works closely with U.S. Soccer staff regarding player identification, and player and coach development
Designed and structured by the clubs, based on the needs of the clubs
That provides an avenue for qualification for the Girls NPL Finals and US Club Soccer Boys National Championship
NYSL - THE LEAGUE IS COMMITTED TO SERVING MEMBERS ACROSS THE STATE AND ALL PLAY LEVELS
THE NEBRASKA YOUTH SOCER LEAGUE.
The purpose of the Nebraska Youth Soccer League is to provide all levels of membership with place to find like-minded competition in positive and developmental friendly environments.
NYSL will develop this mission through and parent education as well as professional administration leadership. The mission to educate and support membership is at the core of all NYSL programming and holds true at all levels of play.
In simplest form. NYSL will be committed to getting teams good games and providing children with the opportunity to enjoy the sport of soccer, while providing the administrative support to make it easy and understandable for parents and clubs.
ASL - THE ALLIANCE SOCCER LEAGUES
ESTABLISHED TO CREATE LIKE ON LIKE MATCH UPS, SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENTS, AND UNMATCHED BENEFITS WITHIN THE MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS.
The Alliance League continues to grow promoting player development and opportunities.
Our flexible club roster system allows teams to be able to manage their rosters weekly and create teams based on needs for that specific match up and game. The league follows U.S. Soccer's PDI which were designed to help players grow through competition.
Players within the Alliance have the opportunity to be selected to enter the league All Star Programs, which falls under USSSA W.I.N. W.I.N. focuses on developing players both on and off the field providing them with opportunities to further test themselves and develop. We also create training development opportunities for all players and families within the program.
GIRLS NEBRASKA PLAYER PATHWAY
THE STING GIRLS PLAYER PATHWAY (NEBRASKA) OFFERS MULTIPLE LEVELS OF COMPETITION AND DEVELOPMENT FOR PLAYERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS.

For over 45 years we have developed and guided an incredible amount of athletes. They have continued their soccer education and pursued their dreams of winning and participating in elite level competitions, representing their country at the national level and playing professional soccer in over 10 countries.
As a club that prides itself on competing at the very highest level, we have achieved multiple national championships, as well as creating a pathway to college soccer for all of our graduating athletes, with an extremely high percentage of those in our programs offered a college scholarship.

STING NEBRASKA HOLD TRYOUTS ONCE A YEAR, ALLOWING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL ATHLETES INTERESTED IN RECEIVING HIGH-QUALITY TRAINING AND COMPETITIVE LEAGUE PLAY
OUR TRYOUT PROCEDURES.
1. REGISTRATION
When our tryouts are open, you will need to register online to ensure a quick checkin-in process. More information to follow when the tryout process is started.
2. CHECK IN
Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the tryouts begin. Players will be assigned a number that is to be used throughout the tryout process. These numbers are used by coaches and leadership when making player selections.
3. ATTENDANCE
Please attend all days of the tryouts. If you cannot attend one of the sessions or will be arriving late, then please let a member of staff know.
4. TIME | DURATION
Our tryouts generally consist of two sessions, one per day and run approximately 90 minutes.
5. WHAT TO WEAR
Players must wear appropriate footwear (cleats), shin guards and bring their own water bottle.

7. PLAYER SELECTION
Head coaches will confirm their selections after the final tryout session with the Director of Coaching. You will be informed via email within a few days of tryouts with information regarding the position offered. You will have 24 hours to accept or decline the position.
