WELCOME TO STING NORTH TEXAS
YOU WILL FIND INFORMATION ON ALL OF OUR DIVISION PROGRAMS, OUR CLUB TEAMS, STAFF, ACADEMY, EVENTS AND MUCH MORE HELD IN STING NORTH TEXAS.
Sting North Texas boasts the largest number of teams and the largest number of training locations in the Sting organization, the division has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 1973.
With elite athletes competing in the highest national levels available (Elite Clubs National League, Elite Clubs Regional League), our North Texas division has gone on to win 14 National Championships amongst our numerous other accolades and awards. It is currently one of the few divisions nationwide that holds two ECNL Clubs, Sting Dallas Black and Sting Dallas Royal.
The division is headed by our great leadership, directors, admin and our wonderful, highly qualified coaching staff, who in turn develop and educate our athletes at the very highest levels all the way through to our Little Stingers, Pre-Academy, and Academy.
Sting North Texas also has the largest number of teams in the organization, currently sitting at a staggering 71 competitive girls teams (U19-U11) and 23 competitive boys teams (since merging from Titans to Sting last year). It also boasts the largest number of training and playing facilities in North Texas, with twelve locations currently spread across the city, providing all of our athletes with a high level training facility, no matter where they are based.
STING NORTH TEXAS OFFERS MULTIPLE PLATFORMS THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL AGES, BOYS AND GIRLS
OUR ELITE TEAMS PLAY IN THE ECNL, ECNL-RL, ECNL-RL STX.
They are given a great opportunity to compete against the very best teams in the country with further chances to compete in national events that are staged all across the country, throughout the season.
Our teams have been extremely successful since the ECNL, ECNL-RL and the ECNL-RL STX were formed, with multiple National Championship wins from the division We will continue to push our athletes and teams throughout the year with a developmental mindset and a competitive pursuit to improve further.
ECNL - THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF NATIONAL SOCCER AVAILABLE TO ATHLETES
THE ECNL WAS FOUNDED IN 2009 AS A CHALLENGE TO THE STATUS QUO OF YOUTH SOCCER.
With a vision to be better with independent governance and leadership structures, the ECNL Board of Directors and staff govern all programs and platforms. The ECNL is sanctioned by US Club Soccer.

ECNL-RL - THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF REGIONAL SOCCER AVAILABLE TO ATHLETES
FOLLOWING THE EXACT SAME PHILOSOPHIES AND PRINCIPLES AS THE ECNL, THE ECRL PROVIDES HIGH LEVEL COMPETITION FOR CLUBS AT A REGIONAL LEVEL.
Originally formed and then expanded in 2018, the league continues to demand and enhance the overall experience of every athlete by creating a better, more enjoyable, and more successful player, coach and development model.
ECNL Girls Regional Leagues are operated and managed so as to ensure a consistent environment and level of professionalism across all leagues, facilitating more club connectivity between levels of play and providing a path for more players within each Member Club to reach their fullest potential.
Each league allows for coordination and collaboration between the teams of different levels within ECNL clubs, or opportunity for teams and players in other clubs to develop through regular high-level competition.
The ECNL Girls Regional Leagues will offer a pathway to an ECNL Girls Regional League Post-Season, featuring two stages.
The ECNL Regional League Championship Series will consist of four regional events held across the country to qualify into the ECNL Regional League Finals along with additional automatic qualifiers from ECNL Regional Leagues, which will be held in conjunction with the ECNL Girls Post-Season.
EA - THE ELITE ACADEMY LEAGUE PROVIDES A NATIONAL PLATFORM FOR STING BOYS
THE ELITE ACADEMY LEAGUE HAS A MISSION TO PROVIDE A NATIONAL PLATFORM WITH A STANDARDS BASED LEAGUE.
The EA gives clubs the ability to provide full developmental model and pathway with top competition and exposure.
The Elite Academy League is composed of member clubs that represent Elite competitive clubs in their market and have shown to be of the standard and will benefit from being part of this platform. By unifying clubs from within the conferences, we have maintained the defining standards of previous elite platforms with a collective approach to making sure the platform sits atop the youth landscape.
Their vision is to sit atop the youth landscape providing Elite Academy clubs and leaders the opportunity to guide the league and have autonomy to develop the game in the US.
This league will serve to provide a seamless elite pathway for clubs and players to excel in the competitive landscape.

THE STING GIRLS PLAYER PATHWAY (NORTH TEXAS) OFFERS MULTIPLE LEVELS OF COMPETITION AND DEVELOPMENT FOR PLAYERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS.
The Elite Clubs National League | Elite Clubs Regional League are the highest level of competitive national and regional youth soccer leagues in the United States.

THE STING BOYS PLAYER PATHWAY (NORTH TEXAS) OFFERS MULTIPLE LEVELS OF COMPETITION AND DEVELOPMENT FOR PLAYERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS.
The Elite Academy League has a mission to provide a national platform with a standards based league giving clubs the ability to provide full developmental model and pathway with top competition and exposure.

For over 45 years we have developed and guided an incredible amount of athletes. They have continued their soccer education and pursued their dreams of winning and participating in elite level competitions, representing their country at the national level and playing professional soccer in over 10 countries.
As a club that prides itself on competing at the very highest level, we have achieved multiple national championships, as well as creating a pathway to college soccer for all of our graduating athletes, with an extremely high percentage of those in our programs offered a college scholarship.

STING NORTH TEXAS HOLD TRYOUTS TWICE A YEAR, ALLOWING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL ATHLETES INTERESTED IN RECEIVING HIGH-QUALITY TRAINING AND COMPETITIVE LEAGUE PLAY
OUR TRYOUT PROCEDURES.
1. REGISTRATION
When our tryouts are open, you will need to register online to ensure a quick checkin-in process. More information to follow when the tryout process is started.
2. CHECK IN
Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the tryouts begin. Players will be assigned a number that is to be used throughout the tryout process. These numbers are used by coaches and leadership when making player selections.
3. ATTENDANCE
Please attend all days of the tryouts. If you cannot attend one of the sessions or will be arriving late, then please let a member of staff know.
4. TIME | DURATION
Our tryouts generally consist of two sessions, one per day and run approximately 90 minutes.
5. WHAT TO WEAR
Players must wear appropriate footwear (cleats), shin guards and bring their own water bottle.
6. TRYOUT FORMAT

7. PLAYER SELECTION
Head coaches will confirm their selections after the final tryout session with the Director of Coaching. You will be informed via email within a few days of tryouts with information regarding the position offered. You will have 24 hours to accept or decline the position.
