IAN LERMAN

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Ian earned his Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Accounting, from the University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. At the tender age of 30, Ian emigrated from South Africa to the US, by way of London, & has called Dallas home for the last 30 years. Over this time, Ian has gained vast experience in accounting, budgeting, financial analysis & planning, in a variety of retail, manufacturing, and service organizations.

One of Ian’s passions is soccer (football as he knows it). He started playing the game at age 8, & could never get enough of it. He played both school & club soccer through Elementary & High School years, as well as his first 2 years in college. When in the US, Ian played in local recreational leagues against much younger players, until he eventually had to “hang up his boots” in his mid 40s. After that he helped coach & train his son’s team for almost 10 years, sharing his knowledge & passion of the game.
