TEAM NAME (Saturday, March 19, 2022) – Playing their second home match of the 2022 MLS regular season, the LA Galaxy sustained a 1-0 defeat to Orlando City SC in front of a sell-out crowd of 25,174 fans at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday’s match marked the sixth MLS regular-season meeting between LA and Orlando, with the series tied 3-3-0. The loss to Orlando marked the Galaxy’s first loss at home to Orlando City SC (2-1-0). In 13 regular-season matches coached against Orlando, LA Galaxy Head Coach Greg Vanney holds a record of 8-3-2.

Mark Delgado finished the match a game-high 75 passes attempted with a 97% pass accuracy.

Julián Araujo and Víctor Vázquez each created three chances in the match against Orlando.

The match against Orlando marked Sacha Kljestan’s 49th career appearance for the Galaxy.

Samuel Grandsir has played in 38 consecutive matches for the Galaxy since making his debut for the club on April 18, 2021.

Efraín Álvarez made his 60th MLS regular-season appearance for LA, which ranks as the second-most by an active player on the Galaxy roster.

The Galaxy sold out Dignity Health Sports Park for a second consecutive match.

Following the international break, the Galaxy will travel to face the Portland Timbers at Providence Park on Sunday, April 3. The April 3 match kicks off at 1:30 p.m. PT and features a national television broadcast on FS1.
